We are a pantry of the Greater Philadelphia Diaper Bank


     1. Diapers are distributed on the third Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Mauch Chunk and Greenwood in Tamaqua by appointment only.
     2. You must make an appointment to pick up diapers at least three days prior to the distribution day. Appointment times will be made after a request for diapers has been received. We must have either a phone number or email address with the request to verify a request and appoint-ment time. Make requests online at www.ziontamaqua.com/diaper-depot/ or by phone at 570-668- 2180 (Mon & Wed, 1 to 5 p.m.; Tues & Th, 8 a.m. to noon).
     3. Requests must be made each month.
     4. At this time we are serving families in the Tamaqua Area School District. Bring your proof of address, photo ID to first pick up.
     5. Provide birth certificate, Medicaid or other identification for the child to be served.
     6. The child must be between the ages of birth to 4 years.
     7. We do not require proof of income, WIC or SNAP eligibility. We all have experienced difficult seasons in our lives and we are here simply to help in those times of need.
     8. Request for a particular brand of diapers cannot be accommodated.
     9. You are allowed to get diapers once a month for each child in your care and custody.
     10. Depending on availability, each package of diapers will consist of the following: Newborn, Size 1, Size 2, Size 3, Size 4, Size 5, Size 6 – 50 diapers per child when available. Size 2T-3T pullups and 3T-4T pullups – 30 diapers when available (girl or boy).
     11. Each family diaper request will come with 1 pack of wipes, when available.
     12. If you need to have someone else pick up your diapers, you must provide a note that gives that person approval. The note must be dated and signed by you, the client.
     13. We require 24 hours advanced notice of need to reschedule/cancel an appointment (call 570-668-4451).
     14. Families that “no show” without notice must wait an additional MONTH before receiving diapers for the first no show. After the second no-show, families will no longer be eligible to receive diapers.
